Lamb Shanks with a little bit of Spice



Served with rice. This is a favourite dish of mine which is a perfect fusion of flavours. It is a recipe you must try in winter you will love it.
  - 5 lamb shanks
  - 2 large potatoes
  - 3 carrots
  - 1 can of tomatoes
  - 4 cloves of crushed garlic
  - 2 tablespoons of curry powder
  - 1 large onion chopped
  - 1 teaspoon of chilli powder
  - 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  - 1 cup of coconut milk
Heat the oil and add garlic onions chilli and curry powder and toss the chopped vegetables and shanks into it and sear for 3-4 minutes.
Transfer the lamb shanks and vegetables into an oven proof dish add all other remaining ingredients cover with foil and cook for about 3 hours on a medium heat.
